Night Walk in Haeundae · From Haeridan-gil to the Beach
As autumn cools down, the nights in Haeundae start to look different.
From the small guesthouse at the top of Haeridan-gil, the street lights come on one by one.
The air feels light, mixed with sea wind and the smell of wood from the nearby houses.
Duplit already has a small tree in the window, and Bee Coffee is warm and quiet inside.
Both stay open late, so the street feels calm but still alive.
Haeridan-gil isn’t long, but it’s nice to walk at night.
There aren’t many cars, and the lights stay soft all the way down.
At the end of the street, I turned toward Gunam-ro.
Workers were setting up frames for the winter light festival.
The lights weren’t on yet, but the street already looked ready for winter.
This year’s Haeundae Light Festival starts on November 29.
If you visit mid-November, you’ll see both the preparation and the quiet streets before the crowds.
The air feels cooler, and the sound of waves replaces city noise.
Some people take photos near the sculptures, others just walk slowly.
If you visit Haeundae in late autumn, you’ll probably like how quiet it gets.
It’s a good time for a slow night walk or a simple date course.
