A Stress-Free 2-Night, 3-Day Busan Food & Scenery Trip

(Minimal walking · No driving stress · Michelin-guided dining)

Haeundae Beach skyline in the morning with calm sea and city buildings in Busan

What if there were a Busan itinerary where
you don’t have to walk too much,
don’t get stressed by driving,
and never regret your meal choices?

This 2-night, 3-day Busan trip is designed exactly for that.

You arrive in Busan in the afternoon, follow a smooth and realistic route, visit only the most beautiful parts of the city, enjoy Michelin Guide–selected lunches and dinners, and stay in a quiet neighborhood—not in the noisy center of the beach area.

It’s a food-focused and scenery-focused Busan trip, built for comfort.

You leave home in the morning and arrive in Busan in the afternoon.
The scenery is carefully curated—only the best sections of Busan—and meals are selected based on the Michelin Guide for both lunch and dinner.

For accommodation, instead of staying in the crowded central Haeundae area, this itinerary recommends a quiet neighborhood in Haeundae Haeridan-gil, where many Michelin Guide restaurants are clustered.

Day 1 – Arrival in Haeundae (Afternoon)

Afternoon view of Haeundae Beach with ocean and urban skyline, Busan

Haeundae Beach

The trip begins at Haeundae Beach in the afternoon.

Take your time and slowly walk along the shore, feeling the atmosphere of Haeundae as the day settles in.
Haeundae is one of the most famous beaches in the world, and simply standing there and taking in the view is already healing.

There’s no need to walk all the way to the end of the beach.
Enjoy the ocean and the city skyline.
If you want to feel the beach more deeply, walk barefoot on the sand, take photos, or just relax with friends.

Dongbaekseom Island (Sunset Walk)

After spending enough time at the beach, stop by a café in Haeundae for a drink.
As sunset approaches, head to Dongbaekseom Island for a walk.

The sunset over the sea, combined with the pine trees, rocky cliffs, and coastal scenery of Dongbaekseom, creates a truly powerful landscape.
The walking path curves gently along the island, eventually leading you out near the Dongbaekseom parking area.

Dinner – Mori (Michelin 1-Star Kaiseki)

Afternoon view of Haeundae Beach with ocean and urban skyline, Busan

Dinner on the first night is at Mori, a Michelin 1-Star Japanese kaiseki restaurant located at the heart of Busan’s Michelin dining area.

The reason for choosing Mori on the first night is simple:
it’s only a 10–15 minute walk from Dongbaekseom.

In Haeundae, it’s best to park your car once at a public parking lot and walk whenever possible.
Parking in Busan can be challenging, and for visitors from Seoul or other regions, Busan’s driving style can feel intense—lanes suddenly narrowing, assertive merging, and fast reactions that may feel stressful if you’re not used to it.

Mori is a high-end kaiseki restaurant, with dinner costing around KRW 200,000 per person.
If that feels too expensive, a good alternative is Haemok Haeundae, located just across the street.

Haemok is well known for dishes like hitsumabushi, kaisendon, and uni bowls made with extremely fresh seafood.

After dinner, it’s recommended to stay near Haeridan-gil for the night.
This area is much quieter than the main Haeundae beachfront and is known for its character, atmosphere, and concentration of excellent restaurants.

Day 2 – Haeridan-gil, Coast Walk, and Seaside Temple

Morning in Haeridan-gil

MORING IN HAEUNDAE

After a fairly heavy dinner the night before, there’s no need to rush in the morning.
Start the day slowly with a cup of coffee.

Haeridan-gil is surrounded by hills, with fresh morning air and birdsong.
It feels more like a local neighborhood than a tourist area.

A short walk through the alleys or a relaxed visit to a brunch café is a perfect way to begin the day.

Lunch – Nagahama Mangetsu (Michelin Bib Gourmand)

Quiet morning street Nagahama Mangetsu in Haeridan-gil neighborhood, Haeundae

For lunch, keep things light with Nagahama Mangetsu, a Michelin Bib Gourmand ramen restaurant.

After the previous night’s kaiseki meal, this is an ideal choice to reset your body comfortably.
It’s strongly recommended to put your name on the waiting list around 10:30 a.m., as wait times can become very long.

While waiting, you can take a short walk around the neighborhood before returning for your meal.

Blue Line Park: Mipo → Cheongsapo → Songjeong

After lunch, head to Blue Line Park – Mipo Station.

The walking path here is actually more beautiful than riding the train itself.
The coastal walkway runs alongside the old railway tracks, with the sea stretching out beside you.

The path is flat and easy to walk, great for photos, and incredibly relaxing.
Walking here tends to wash away accumulated stress without you even noticing.

Train arriving at Cheongsapo Station on Haeundae Blue Line

Walk from Mipo to Cheongsapo, visit the Daritdol Observatory, then take the train to Songjeong.
If you’re here anyway, it’s worth riding the train at least once.

By this point, it’s usually around 2:00 p.m.

Haedong Yonggungsa Temple

From Songjeong Station or a nearby bus stop, take bus 181 and get off at Yonggungsa.

Follow the signs and walk toward the temple entrance.
As you enter, rows of symbolic stone statues line the path, and then an overwhelming ocean-front view opens up before you.

Take time to explore the hidden corners and smaller spaces of the temple as well.

Dinner – Fiotto (Michelin Guide)

It’s time for dinner.

Tonight’s recommendation is Fiotto, a Michelin Guide–listed Western fine dining restaurant.
Advance reservations are essential.

Fiotto offers a course menu, with prices typically ranging from KRW 150,000 to 250,000 per person.

If that feels too expensive, Haeundae Amso Galbi is a good alternative.
Be careful not to confuse it with nearby similarly named restaurants—this specific one is recommended.

Day 3 – Busan Station & Yeongdo

부산역과 KTX 외관

Morning – Luggage Storage at Busan Station

Around 10:00 a.m., leave your Haeridan-gil accommodation and head to Busan Station to store your luggage.

For small bags, use the station’s coin lockers.
For larger luggage, ZimCarry Busan Station is recommended.

  • Coin lockers: KRW 1,000 for 2 hours

  • ZimCarry: approx. KRW 3,000 for small bags / KRW 5,000 for medium to large suitcases (per day)

If you plan to take a KTX around 3–4 p.m., the timing works out perfectly.

Lunch – Arp (Michelin Guide, Yeongdo)

Taejongdae rocky cliffs and deep blue sea in Yeongdo

After storing your luggage, it’s usually close to 11:00 a.m.

Lunch today is at Arp, a Michelin Guide–listed Western restaurant in Yeongdo.
The pricing is relatively reasonable compared to other fine-dining options.

Yeongdo is close to Busan Station and includes destinations like Huinnyeoul Culture Village and Taejongdae, making it ideal for a final half-day before leaving Busan.

Spend the afternoon enjoying Yeongdo’s coastal scenery, then return to Busan Station in time for your train.

Taking a high-speed train between 4:00–5:00 p.m. fits perfectly, wrapping up the trip with a clean and logical route.
